There are no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics. Nothing you type leaves your phone unless you open a shared room, and anything that does is deleted automatically within 12 hours.
Who this covers
This policy covers the Android apps Scoreboard and
Raffle Draw, and the web viewer at roomcode.app. They are
published by an independent developer, referred to below as “we”.
What stays on your device
By default, everything. Team names, scores, entry lists, saved lists, draw records and your settings are written to your phone's private app storage and are never transmitted. You can erase all of it at any time from Android's Settings → Apps → Storage → Clear storage, or by uninstalling the app.
What leaves your device, and only when you choose
Sharing is off until you open a room. When you do, the app sends the contents of that room to our relay so other people can see it:
- Scoreboard — team names, colours, scores, period, clock and the room code.
- Raffle Draw — the entry names, their ticket weights, winners, and the published fairness fingerprint for the draw.
Anyone holding the room code can read this, which is the point of the feature. Room codes are short, so treat a room as public: enter first names or nicknames rather than full names, and never anything sensitive.
How long it is kept
A room is deleted automatically 12 hours after the last change to it. This is not a policy we apply by hand — it is how the software is built, and there is no archive, backup or export behind it. Closing the room from the app deletes it immediately. Once deleted, the contents cannot be recovered by you or by us.
What we never collect
- No accounts, sign-ins, email addresses or phone numbers.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising, or advertising identifiers.
- No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.
- No device identifiers of any kind.
- No cookies on the web viewer.
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties. There is nothing to sell.
Technical data our host sees
The relay runs on Cloudflare. To keep rooms working and to stop abuse, Cloudflare's network processes your IP address as part of ordinary internet routing, and the relay uses it in memory to rate-limit how many rooms one connection can create. It is never written to storage and is discarded as soon as the request finishes. Cloudflare's own handling of network data is described in their privacy policy.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never see or receive your card details, billing address or Google account. The app stores only a single flag on your device recording that the unlock is held, and asks Google whether the purchase exists when you reinstall.
Children
These apps are general-purpose tools for classrooms, clubs and family use rather than products directed at children, and they collect no personal information for their own purposes. Names typed into a room are content supplied by whoever is using the app, kept only for the life of the room. If you are running a draw or a game with children, please use first names or nicknames only.
Your rights
Because we hold no accounts and no records tied to you, there is no profile to request, correct or export — and deletion is entirely in your hands: close the room, clear the app's storage, or uninstall. If you believe a room containing your information is still live and you want it removed before it expires, contact us with the room code and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
